WELCOME AUTUMN - Palazzo Orlandi
Tarde o temprano había que dar la
bienvenida a la nueva estación y mi catarro me ha recordado que ya está
aquí... Hoy no me siento en plena forma pero estos interiores tal vez
me hagan olvidar por un rato el mal cuerpo.
¿Y
pensar que los frescos de estas paredes estuvieron cubiertos durante
décadas por capas de cal? Tal vez eso los haya conservado en óptimo
estado. Gracias a la cuidada intervención de la arquitecta Sabrina
Bignami, del estudio B-Arch, estas pinturas han visto la luz y recuperado su esplendor.
Me pregunto qué se siente al darse un baño en esa bañera rodeada de arte... Sí, definitivamente ahora me siento algo mejor.

Can you think that these wall frescoes were covered for decades by layers of lime? Maybe that preserved them in excellent condition. Thanks to the careful intervention of the architect Sabrina Bignami, B-Arch studio, these paintings have seen the light and recovered its splendor.

I wonder what it feels taking a bath in that tub surrounded by wonderful art... Yes, definitely I get better now.

Oh wow! this kind of places with so much beauty, oh my...classic designs and fresco's a combination you won't easily forget. Wonderful images Maria, your taste for interiors is outstanding.

ReplyDeleteAs much as I love frescoes, I also easily get tired of them. For me frescoes and the concept of less is more sounds like a good match. But I really enjoyed this post.
