UN TOQUE DE ROJO

A RED SPLASH

No sé si es casualidad que el color que he elegido hoy como inspiración sea el rojo como el color de los zapatos que llevo (son de un coral intenso). Me he dado cuenta cuando ya había seleccionado las fotos porque en realidad tenía idea de publicar otra cosa. Casualmente lo llevo solamente en los zapatos como toque de color porque se me ha antojado esta mañana. Necesitaba algo enérgico con lo que empezar el día. ¿Cuál es tu color para comerte el mundo?

DESEANDO EL MEDITERRANEO

WISHING THE MEDITERRANEAN

Espero que hayais tenido un fantástico fin de semana. Vale, ya se ha quedado un poco lejos pero el mío ha durado hasta ayer por lo que mi semana empieza hoy! Hago balance y estoy feliz porque han sido unos días intensos de sueños cumplidos y ver más cercanos otros que están pendientes...

Siempre que vuelvo de Ibiza me pasa lo mismo: Que estoy deseando volver a la isla!! Y no sólo como lugar de vacaciones, de hecho me gusta muchísimo en otoño y primavera que hay menos turistas y me puedo dar paseos por la playa casi vacía o tumbarme al sol sin hacer nada. Algunos piensan que de un sitio como Ibiza te acabas cansando, pero cuanto más la conoces más grande se hace. Era mi sueño antes de venir a Suiza pero las circunstancias me hicieron decidir y elegí Suiza como algo temporal por lo que mi próximo destino espero que sea definitivamente Ibiza donde me espera Thomas.

Por cierto, para los que me habeis preguntado y para los que os acerqueis a la isla, el bar de mi novio se llama La Sal y está en el puerto de Sta. Eulalia. Las tapas son deliciosas y a excelente precio. Feliz semana!

I hope you have had a fantastic weekend. Ok, has been a bit far but mine has lasted until yesterday so my week starts today! Balance and I am happy because last days have been intense of dreams fulfilled and more near others who are outstanding ... Whenever I come back from Ibiza I feel the same:  I am looking forward to returning to the island! And not just as a holiday, I actually really like in the fall and spring because I can take walks along the beach almost empty and lying in the sun doing nothing. Some think that a place like Ibiza is bored all the year, but the more you discover larger seems. It was my dream before coming to Switzerland but circumstances made me decide and chose Switzerland as a temporary place so I hope my next destination definitely is Ibiza where my boyfriend expects me. 

By the way, for all who have asked and for which you approach the island, the bar of my boyfriend is  La Sal and is in the port of Santa Eulalia. The tapas are delicious and cheap prices. Happy week!

¿TODAVIA DE ACTUALIDAD?

Encontré estas fotos en Flickr y me vais a tener que perdonar porque soy un desastre. He perdido el link exacto de cada fotografía dónde detallaba el año, la revista y la modelo. Os diré que son de finales de los 60 y algunas corresponden a Harper's Bazaar y otras a Vogue. Me gustan porque me resultan muy actuales y parece mentira que hayan pasado tantas décadas. Sí que es verdad que las fotos que se hacen ahora son mucho más agresivas y las modelos de entonces me parecen más guapas. ¿Creeis que los cánones de belleza han cambiado tanto con respecto a 40 años atrás? ¿Y la moda?...

Con estas fotos os dejo hasta el próximo martes. En medio de tanto trabajo me tomo un largo fin de semana para irme a Ibiza dónde mañana mi novio inaugura un pequeñito bar de tapas. Un sueño que tenía desde hace tiempo, porque aunque se dedica a la publicidad y formación es, para mí, un gran chef autodidacta del que soy fan (cómo no). Así que no quiero perderme cómo parte de su sueño se hace realidad. Feliz fin de semana!

TODAY WILL BE A GREAT DAY

Hola a todos! Hace unos días una amiga me mandó este video que ha quedado grabado en mi mente y me gusta recordar cada día. A lo mejor lo habeis visto ya en tv, y si es así seguro que os gusta verlo otra vez porque todos necesitamos rodearnos de optimismo, gente alegre y pensamientos sanos. Me he propuesto repetirme todos los días "Hoy va a ser un gran día" durante 21 para hacer de la búsqueda de la felicidad un hábito. Estoy en el 5° día y de momento me está funcionando. Por eso mismo lo quiero compartir hoy con vosotros esperando que os ayude, motive, emocione y apasione tanto como a mi. Un beso!

Hi everyone! A few days ago a friend sent me this video that has stuck in my mind and I like to remember every day. As it is in Spanish (nevertheless I suggest to  watch it also) I explain you that is an interview to a positive executive who is dedicated to giving lectures on optimism, because he has decided to be happy in a world where seems that pesimism  and depression concern for normal problems are highly valued. The thoughts become habits after thinking them for 21 days then this is what I plan: repeat every day "Today will be a great day" for 21 to make the pursuit of happiness a habit. I am in the 5th day and until now is working me very well. Many times we forget to be happy because we think we can not, but just see positive thoughts to attract them, and remove the negative. It seems a very easy recipe so I wish sharing this video with you today hoping that it will help, encourage, excited and passionate about as much as me. Kisses!

MAISON DU MACARONS

La pastelería Theurel & Thomas ha abierto en Méjico una tienda exclusiva y muy elegante. Para destacar el producto se ha creado una base totalmente blanca, como el azúcar, dónde el único color es el de los macarons, y los detalles visuales están tan cuidados como los dulces y sin embargo no los eclipsan. De estos merengues franceses se ocupa el Chef Irving Quiroz Quintana, y del diseño de interior y el packaging el estudio Anagrama.

No soy excesivamente golosa y pero me declaro fan de los macarons....mmmm.
Theurel & Thomas Patisserie has opened an exclusive and elegant store in Mexico. To highlight the product has been created a white sugar base where the only colored are the macaroons and visual details are so cared as the meringues. The Chef Irving Quiroz Quintana prepares following the French tradition, and interior design and packaging are created by Anagrama studio.
I am not too greedy, but I declare myself a fan of macarons .... mmmm.

MONTE CARLO BEACH HOTEL: India Mahdavi

 

Uno de los proyectos que más me entusiasman de India Mahdavi es este Hotel en Montecarlo. Está creado cuidando no sólo la arquitectura, también el interiorismo, y la escenografía. En su interior ha jugado con los volúmenes, los colores y el diseño de mobiliario creando espacios abiertos al mar y la naturaleza de la Riviera, y recreando el mar dentro del mismo edificio. Es un hotel diferente, moderno, incluso diría con un cierto estilo Miami.

De este proyecto también se ocuparon: Jean Mus, experto en jardinería paisajística en el Mediterráneo, los diseñadores Ich&Kar, de la identidad visual, Capucine Puerari, de los uniformes, y Aurore de la Morinerie, artista de los frescos de las habitaciones.

Sin duda invita a hacer las maletas e irse para allá...Ese sol...

One of the projects by India Mahdavi that I am most excited is this Hotel in Monte Carlo. Is cared not only the architecture, also the interior design, and the scenography. Inside has played with the volumes, colors and furniture design by her and the result are spaces open to the sea and the nature of the Riviera. It's cool, modern, I would say with a certain Miami style.

NUEVA ESTACION

NEW SEASON

Oficialmente ya está aquí! Desde ayer ya es primavera y parece que el simple hecho de que sea oficial me hace sentir mejor. ¿No os pasa igual? Una estación muy esperada por los colores, perfumes, buen tiempo, ... y porque es la estación previa al verano! Hace un día estupendo de sol pero no puedo decir lo mismo de la temperatura. Después de dos maravillosos días convencida que ya era de verdad primavera han bajado las temperaturas y he tenivo que sacar otra vez el abrigo del armario. Inocente yo!

Officially it's here! Since yesterday it is spring and it this simple fact makes me feel better. Don't you? MAKING OF MISS DIOR CHERIE

Hasta ayer no ví el nuevo anuncio de Miss Dior Chérie protagonizado por Natalie Portman. Tengo que decir que está creado con una delicadeza y romanticismo que sólo Sofia Coppola sabe transmitir, como queda bien claro en el video del making of, pero principalmente lo que me ha hecho buscarlo en internet esta mañana han sido los interiores y la decoración sobria y chic acorde con la marca. Fijaos en las sillas negras de estructura metálica del salón. Las ví en una tienda en Florencia hace poco aunque tapizadas y lacada la estructura en blanco. Me encantaron porque es justo lo que estoy buscando para mi salón, pero algo más económico, of course (aquellas costaban cada una casi 1.000 €!), y me quedé con la curiosidad de saber qué marca las edita. Agradezco cualquier indicio que me pueda ayudar, más que nada, para saciar mi curiosidad, porque como digo son "un pelín" caras para mí. Y si sabeis dónde conseguir alguna réplica pues mejor que mejor.

PD: En referencia a mi estado de descanso nocturno voy mejorando a base de valerianas y tapones (aarrrgh). Gracias por vuestro comentarios de ánimo.
Only yesterday I saw the new ad for Miss Dior Chérie starring Natalie Portman. I have to say that is created with a delicate and romantic that only Sofia Coppola knows how to transmit, {as is clear in the  video of Making of} but mainly what made me look on the internet this morning were the interiors and chic decor in keeping with the brand. Look at the black chairs with  metallic structure of the livingroom. I saw them in a shop in Florence recently in white lacquered structure. It was just what I'm searching for my livingroom, but something cheaper, of course (those costing almost € 1,000 each!), and I was curious to know what is the brand that editing. I apreciate any evidence that can help me, just to satiate my curiosity, because as I say are a "bit" expensive for me. And if you know where to get the replica then better.
PS: In reference to my state of night rest I am getting better {solution: valerian and earplugs -aaarrrgh}. Thanks for your comments. :-)
