PEQUEÑA GRAN HOLANDA

GREAT LITTLE HOLLAND

A small trip to Holland has been enough to return very satisfied and with a very good taste.
I had never been before... Whenever you make a trip you get a preconceived idea of what will be found but this has far exceeded my nice idea of Holland, land of tulips and windmills. This small country full of history, knows very well how to use its resources.
During the few days we stayed we had time to visit partially the Amsterdam metropolitan area, which includes not only the city (photos coming soon), also a large part of navigable canals, fields,
industry and stunning beaches of dunes. One of the most amazing things I did not expect in these parts is the clear light, that reminds me Spain's one, and that I hardly can enjoy in other European countries. This and how Dutch people enjoy their resources and life invites to not want to leave this beautiful country.

Happy Wednesday!

Fotos: Taken by me on the way between De Rijp, Wormerveer and Purmerend; the Het Twiske Park, and North Sea from the Ijmuiden beaches. They are a great font of inspiration to my work because the architecture, light, textures and materials captured.
