Sería maravilloso vivir sin esas hipocresias que creemos inevitables. No me interesa que hace mi vecino pero si le toca la loteria quisiera alegrarme por él. Me gustaría vivir lo más dignamente posible, sin dejar de ponerme metas que den sentido a mi vida, porque el triunfo personal debería estar en amar y ser amado, respetar y ser respetado, y que todo lo que hagamos sea hecho con pasión.

It would be wonderful to live without these hypocrisies wich we believe inevitable. Does not interest me what my neighbor do, but if he wins the lottery I would be happy for him. I like to live with dignity as possible, while I still set goals that give meaning to my life, because the personal succes should be to love and be loved, respect and be respected, and that everything we do is done with passion.

La reina del color en la decoración tiene un nombre: Kelly Wearstler. Considero que mezcla colores y estampados como nadie creando ambientes mágicos, opulentes, teatrales. Pero después de conocer sus últimas creaciones puedo decir también que es la reina de los tonos neutros: piedra, beige, gris, arena, galleta. No me canso de ver sus exagerados interiores en los que ella misma diseña gran parte del mobiliario y aporta piezas vintage únicas, recopiladas (como compradora compulsiva) en sus múltiples viajes por el mundo. Tendiendo a líneas cada vez más limpias sigue obteniendo el mismo resultado extraordinario con sello inconfundible Wearstler.

The queen of color in the decoration has a name: Kelly Wearstler. I believe that she mixes colors and patterns as anyone creating magical, opulent, dramatic interiors. But after knowing their latest designs I can also say that it is the queen of neutral colors: stone, beige, gray, sand, biscuit... I never tire of seeing their interiors in which she designs many of the furnishings and offers unique vintage pieces, collected (such as compulsive buyer) in her travels around the world. Tending to purest lines still get the same extraordinary result Wearstler hallmark.

INSPIRED TO WORK

Nada como empezar la semana con ganas de dedicación al trabajo, y es que cuando empiezamos algo como la semana, el año o el verano siempre nos ponemos unos objetivos. El mío es tan simple como el de tantísimas personas que empiezan su jornada: poner empeño en lo que hago, y no es que no le ponga ganas otras veces, pero hoy el sol y la vista del lago de Lugano desde mi oficina me han cargado especialmente de energía.

Como no, estas fotos del despacho de Laura Ponte, que comparte con el diseñador de moda Miguel Palacio, no son menos inspiradoras. ¿Y quién no trabaja a gusto en un espacio como este? Chic, con aire neoyorkino ... y lleno de luz, como mi despacho hoy.

Nothing like starting the week with a desire to hard work. When we start something like a week, year or summer many of us set objectives. Mine is as simple as that of so many people who start their day: put effort into my labor day. I do not mean  that I do not work hardly before, but today the sun and the view of Lugano Lake  from my office have charged me especially of energy.

Also this beautiful photos of the model Laura Ponte's office, shared with the fashion designer Miguel Palacio , are not less inspiring. And who does not work happy in a place like this? Chic, Newyorker air ... and full of light, like my office today.
