Aunque este blog esté dedicado principalmente a decoración, sabeis que también me gusta el diseño en general y estos diseños me han resultado irresistibles mostraroslos. Perdonad si el post os parece excesivo de fotos, he intentado resumir el desfile de alta costura primavera/verano 2011 que acaba de presentar la casa Valentino pero ha sido difícil no mostrar todos porque los modelos son una auténtica maravilla, como podeis apreciar. Los diseñadores son Pier Paolo Piccioli y Maria Grazia Chiuri que han seguido los tonos nude, sin faltar los rojos firma de la marca y han incluído detalles tan delicados como encajes, lazos e inspiraciones florales. No os lo perdais porque es una verdadera inspiración.

Although this blog is dedicated mainly for decoration, you know that I like the overall design and these designs were irresistible for me. Sorry if the post is excessive with all these photos, I tried to summarize the haute couture spring / summer 2011 collection just made the house Valentino but it was hard not to show all because all the models are a marvel, as you can appreciate. The designers are Pier Paolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri who have followed the nude tones, without missing the brand's signature red, and included details as delicate as lace, bows and floral motives. Do not miss it because it is really an inspiration.

TE CUENTO UN SECRETO

I TELL YOU A SECRET

Algunos confesables, otros no. Algunos metidos en el armario, otros en una cajita, y otros en nuestro interior. Si os cuento todos dejarán de ser secretos pero os confieso que me encanta publicar en mi blog y por supuesto leer los comentarios. Os confieso que hoy he hecho el vago en la oficina, y en el descanso he caído en la tentación de comprar en las últimas rebajas, y además no tengo remordimientos. Os confieso que echo muchísimo de menos a mi novio al que no puedo ver todos los días y que, muchas veces, me resulta durísimo vivir en Suiza.

Por suerte he aprendido a librarme de los que me atormentaban y que una vez confesados no parecen tan importantes.

Some confessed, some not. Some kept in the closet, some in a box, and others within our interior. If I tell you all cease to be secret but I confess that I love to post on my blog and of course to read the comments. I confess that today I have been lazy at work, and during the break I have been tempted to shopping in the latest sales, moreover I have no regrets. I confess that I miss my boyfriend so much because I can not see him every day and, often, I find hard to live in Switzerland.

Luckily I learned to get rid of those that tormented me, and once confessed not seem so important.

OASIS EN LA CIUDAD

OASIS IN THE CITY

Aunque no viva en una gran ciudad, también necesito un remanso de paz, o un espacio propio donde desconectar del estres diario y cargar las pilas. El mío, al igual que el del diseñador Jorge Aguado, es mi apartamento en el que puedo pasarme horas haciendo de todo y nada. Es curioso, pero saber que tienes tu espacio propio puede darte además de relax, madurez y capacidad para tomas muchas decisiones en tu vida.

Jorge Aguado consiguió su propio oásis en el centro de Madrid. Como veis un apartamento lleno de luz y piezas de estilos diferentes combinados con armonía que podría situarlo en cualquier ciudad del mundo.

Although not living in a big city, I also need a haven of peace, or a private space where  disconnect from the daily stress and recharge energies. Mine, like the designer Jorge Aguado, is my apartment where I can spend hours doing everything and nothing. It's funny, but knowing that you have your own space can give as well as relaxation, maturity and ability to take many decisions in your life.

Jorge Aguado got its own oasis in the heart of Madrid. As you can see an apartment full of light and pieces from different styles combined with harmony, that you could find in any city in the world.

INSPIRADO PARA TRABAJAR

INSPIRED TO WORK

Estoy pensando seriamente rescatar un marco viejo y adaptarlo como panel donde plasmar mi trabajo e inspiración, como en la foto! Me parece irresistible este espacio de trabajo. No me quejo por el que tengo actualmente: mucho más amplio y moderno, con una gran gran pantalla de ordenador. Este sin embargo está lleno de recuerdos con un toque personal, y muy, muy femenino. ¿Cómo es el tuyo?
I am seriously considering to rescue an old picture frame and use it as background where express my work and inspiration, as in the picture! I find irresistible this workspace. I can not complain for which I have now: much more spacious and modern, with a big computer screen. This however is full of memories, with a personal touch, and very, very feminine. How is yours?

Siguiendo con los tonos nude Donna Karan ha presentado su campaña primavera-verano para el 2011. Una atmósfera de misterio romántica actual, donde las modelos parecen esculturas y casi se puede sentir el tacto de los tejidos.

El artífice de estas fotos es Patrick Demarchelier.

Continuing with nude tones Donna Karan presented the spring-summer 2011 AD campaign. A misterious  atmosphere of modern romance, where the models look like sculptures and seems you can feel the touch of the clothes.

SEDUCIDA POR EL PURPURA

SEDUCED BY  PURPLE

Más bien diría que estoy totalemente seducida por el púrpura. Mi novio me dice que es "mi color"... ¿será porque la colcha de mi cama es de este color?; ¿será porque en mi armario puedes encontrar varias cosas en púrpura y porque cuando paso al lado de un escaparate, del tipo que sea, en púpura me paro a observarlo automáticamente? Sí, me encanta, pero sin obsesionarme!

Llamado toda la vida color "berenjena" (menos chic) desprende algo de magia, misterio, seducción, elegancia, feminidad que me resulta irresistible. Tengo curiosidad por saber cuál es "tu color" ... y por qué.

I would say that I am totally seduced by the purple. My boyfriend says that it is" my color"; ... Is it because the covers of my bed is this color?, Is it because in my closet you can find several things in purple, or because when I pass next to a window, of whatever kind, in pupura I stop to watch it? Yes, I love it, but not obsessed! Shows some magic, mystery, seduction, elegance, femininity that I find irresistible. I have curiosity to know what is "your color" ... and why.
