Valérie Mazerat got what she proposed in the rahabilitation of this apartment located in the seventh district of Paris. Light out the natural charm was her premise. She made use of white colour in all areas, in order to make more discrete the original ornaments, combined furniture by India Mahdavi, others inherited, owners' artworks, and recovered the natural color of the oak parquet from Hungary. Honey tones. What I most like is the classical sophistication that reigns in these functional areas, almost spartan. Eclectic très chic!

  1. So Parisian! Love that hallway, the umbrella holder and the view from one room into the other. Oh my, those floors. You may know that I have a soft spot for beautiful floors. :)

  5. A very soothing home. I love the mouldings on the walls and the ceilings - how detailed. And the picture rails halfway down the wall in the hallway to place the framed art. Lovely. :)

This flat is beautiful, so grand somehow yet it looks so effortless and homey.

Welcome back from Holland, glad to see that you had a wonderful trip. The sea never fails to rejuvenate the spirit.
