MI CASA ES UN PAJAR: Gaspar Sobrino

MY HOUSE IS A HAYSTACK: Gaspar Sobrino

Feliz lunes.

This forgotten haystack been lucky to get into the hands of the spanish decorator Gaspar Sobrino, to become his home. A space with soul that reflects the personality of its owner. We can guess that Gaspar is an educated person, a traveler and has a keen eye for aesthetics, which makes their belongings coexist in perfect harmony in an unusual triplex of 140 m2.
In downstairs floor, the kitchen is also the entrance, rather for a technical question than for the pleasure of receiving while cooking. On this floor is also the bedroom that shares space with the bathroom and the closet. In the second floor, his studio, where inspiration only can flow. And in the third floor is the livingroom. Much light coming through the windows of the attic that walls of some rooms were painted in black and others covered by wall paper of some heavy prints. The essence of attic is latent in the original doors and railing, and in the natural pine floor fixed with nails.

How was your weekend? In the Saturday market I got a new acquisition. A beautiful tricolor glass bowl. The Saturday afternoon we went to do shopping in Como, where we discovered this wonderful shop of contemporary items for the home, and then appetizer in our favorite place Riva Cafe.
Have a happy Monday.

  5. I'm loving that last shot. The room looks so interesting from that angle. As much as I like many of the elements here taken individually, as a whole this is a bit too cluttered for my taste.

  6. Wow!
